About the University

IBS Budapest, founded in 1991 as Central Europe’s first private business college, brings UK-accredited business education to Hungary, in partnership with the University of Buckingham. The campus, located in the dynamic Graphisoft Park by the Danube, seats students in beautifully restored heritage buildings alongside major global tech companies. IBS offers English-taught undergraduate and postgraduate degrees with a strong emphasis on small-group teaching, practical projects, and rigorous grading standards.

The university supports a truly global student body—over 100 nationalities—providing hands-on learning through its UpSkill employability program, career services, and internship opportunities. Graduates earn British diplomas, gain access to ACCA exemptions, and join a growing alumni community with strong connections across the business world.
